Her news from April to August 2002 !
August 29th 2002: Juliette Binoche will be on Bravo's "Inside the Actor's studio", an American tv show, in late October
Since its creation eight years ago,
Bravo's alluring show "Inside the Actor's studio" had never left New
York, USA. But last night, in the Opera Comique, in Paris, France, the program's
host, James Lipton, interviewed 2 of the most famous French actresses of the
past 40 years, Juliette Binoche and Jeanne Moreau, during two hours. The two actresses evoked their beginnings and their working methods, their
meetings and some bits of their intimacy. Juliette Binoche notably made a performance
in a French style by interpreting an extract from "The miser", a Moliere
play (original title: "l'avare"). Besides, the presenter and Jeanne Moreau
sang in chorus "I am the navel of the world". Rare moments that Bravo tv will
diffuse on October 27th at 8pm in the USA, and that Paris Premiere should
broadcast a few days later in France, in November.

Photos
personally snapped by 99 famous people raised 53,000 euros when the disposable
cameras they were taken on were auctioned off to the public in Paris on 12 June
to help Reporters Without Borders' efforts to defend press freedom worldwide.

her camera to TV personality Thierry Ardisson for 4,500 euros. Actress Sophie
Marceau's camera, which contained pictures of herself pregnant, fetched

cameras - including those used by filmmakers Constantin Costa-Gavras, Robert
Altman and actress Charlotte Rampling. The buyers are free to develop the photos
in the cameras but had to promise not to make money out of them. The stars had
been given the cameras by Reporters Without Borders and invited to take whatever
photos they liked.
The money raised will enable Reporters Without Borders to continue its work of defending press freedom, especially by helping the families of the 120 journalists currently imprisoned around the world and hiring lawyers to represent them in court.
